Holidays in Turkey

Turkey – eastern flavour and hospitality. Washed by the waters of the Mediterranean, Black and Aegean seas. Ready to amaze guests with sunny beaches, dancing, ancient ruins, archaeological excavations, delightful landscapes, thermal and ski resorts and eco-routes. Visa-free regime and all-inclusive system make Turkey a very attractive holiday destination.
What to see and where to visit
Ankara, the capital of Turkey, is situated between the hills. Walking along the wide main streets, you can admire the beautiful hotels, restaurants and cafes, and turning down a narrow side street, you can immerse yourself in traditional Turkey with colourful clothes and multicoloured houses. Along the main streets are luxurious hotels, restaurants and cafes – quite European, magnificent embassies and government buildings – and away from them is another world, with peasants in traditional costumes living the age-old way of life. The Museum of Anatolian Civilisations and Ataturk’s Mausoleum will help you see the link between past and present. The summer season in Turkey is characterised by hot weather with air temperatures up to +30 °C, and it rarely rains. In winter it is snowy and cold -10. Spring and autumn are rainy and foggy.
Istanbul is the former capital of Turkey, a city located in both Europe and Asia, washed by the waters of the Bosphorus, the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara. It is the Bosphorus that connects the European and Asian parts with three bridges and a unique underwater railway tunnel. It is hot and dry in summer and cool in winter.
Popular tours or when to go to Turkey
The best time to buy a tour is from April to October, the beach season on the Antalya coast, where the sea is warm and the eucalyptus forests are beautiful. Summer temperatures are +30-35°C and without precipitation, while water temperatures are +28+29°C. December to February is cold, damp and foggy. The temperature in these months varies from +6 to +16°C, with heavy rains.
The Taurus Mountains determine the climate in the Aegean region – it is more gentle, but the season is short from June to September. In summer it is +24-26°C and the water is warmed up to +23°C.
The summers are very hot and short in the ski resorts, while winters are long and snowy from November to May.
