What to see and where to go in Sweden
When it is better to buy a tour to Sweden depends on what you want to do. If you plan to enjoy a beach holiday, it is better to go in summer (from mid-June to August) on the southern coast. In this case, an active holiday is guaranteed: kayaking, surfing, yachting, cycling. And also bright excursion holidays: Skåne, beaches of Gotland, Visby with the festival of the Middle Ages (in August), where you can watch performances and reconstructions of battles. Be sure to visit the island of Djurgården with its Vasa Maritime Museum, sculpture park in Millesgården, ethnographic complex “Skansen”, music of the band “ABBA”, Astrid Lindgren’s fairy tales “Junibacken”.
Ski resorts are open from October until spring. Skis, skates, tracks of any complexity, mountaineering, sledges with dogs, man-made ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi, where you can sit in a bar and drink from ice glasses. From Abisko National Park in Kiruna, which lies above the Arctic Circle, you can watch the northern lights.
Arriving by ferry to Stockholm, Stadsgårdskajen harbour on the island of Södermalm you can visit Drottningholm Palace, Haga Park, Bergian Botanical Gardens, and the Fotografika Gallery with two floors of exhibition space.

Sweden has a warm season from May to the first half of autumn. Temperatures range from +17 to + 25°C. Snow starts to melt in March, in late April and early May there are flowering gardens, meadows and parks everywhere, in June “white nights”, beach season from mid-July to August. September, October – bright, beautiful golden autumn, delighting with purple. In winter the temperature ranges from -16°C in the central part of the country to -22 -25°C in the north, in the capital it is about 0°C. The weather is changeable with strong winds and precipitation.
