Italy invites visitors

“A sun-drenched paradise with stunning beaches will pay foreigners €30,000 each to move there,” such an advert appeared in the publication dailystar. One of the southern regions of Italy – Calabria – is making a tempting offer. Those wishing to move are indeed offered to pay 30 thousand euros for the move, but under certain conditions.
As they write in the publication, this region “boasts magnificent rocky mountains, picturesque villages and amazingly beautiful coastline, full of beaches with golden sand, worthy of pictures in social networks, so the idea of moving there is quite tempting”. However, all this beauty is offered with the aim of improving the economy of the local villages. The resettlement programme was launched back in 2021 and has a number of restrictions for those wishing to move to the promised paradise:

1.The age of the resettlers is limited (up to 40 years old);

2.Resettlement must be done within a short period of time (3 months); 3.

3.It is not possible to enjoy holidays after the move (it is necessary to take one of the open jobs or open your own business)
“The reason is simple: the whole point of the proposal is to help stimulate the local economy in villages with a population of 2,000 or less,” the media outlet clarified.
The 30,000 euros to those who move will be paid gradually, to be paid every month, but over a period of three years.
“But it might be a tempting deal if you want a change of scenery,” the publication adds.
