The daily menu of Spaniards
The Spanish daily menu primarily includes tapas (nuts, any olives, chips or small sandwiches). They are eaten before the main course and together with drinks.
The second most popular dish is pinchos (same as tapas, only more elaborately decorated or served on a skewer).
The Spaniards consume pours every day in any form as a stand-alone product and in a snack with other foods.
Paella in Spain is considered a traditional dish and is made with special rice and seafood with lots of different spices, but the obligatory ingredient in the spices must be saffron.
Hamon is one of the oldest dishes which is a dried ham of pork. And for its cooking use the meat, only one breed of pigs – Iberian. It is usually eaten for breakfast, like sandwiches and croissants.
Spaniards are very fond of aged cheeses and eat them as a separate dish, so the serving and decoration is appropriate. The inhabitants of this southern country think that aged cheese is healthier and tastier.
Wine is part of the daily diet, and is consumed at breakfast, lunch and dinner in moderation. Even in hotels, young wine, not water, most often comes out of the taps.
